Rancho Wieneria is owned & operated by myself, Bill Bartel, and my amazing & talented wife, Tracey (aka Shug). We also have some amazing friends & family that you’ll probably see helping us from time to time under the shade of “The Wiener Tent.” Thanks Kelsey, Lisa May, Troy, Mom & Pop Hartle…we love you and couldn’t have got this train a rollin’ without you!
Both Tracey and I spent our early sort-of-adult years (the late 90’s – early 2000’s) playing music in the Seattle scene. Oddly, we had never met back in the day but probably walked past each other at least a few times at shows around town. We worked in a few different restaurants & pizza parlors around the greater Seattle area and our love for great music & mouthwatering street food grew from those experiences. You will likely see the “Downtown Dog” on our menu, which is inspired by the gourmet dogs/brats we used to catch a whiff of and then devour after a killer show at various clubs downtown.
Today, we are proud to be residents of the Okanogan, WA community where we work & live on a small farm with a magical forest along the banks of the mighty Okanogan River. Our farm is named Rancho Cluckeria, if you can believe that, where we raise several spoiled chickens, three cool cats, a rotation of wild turkeys and birds, and mule deer mama’s that come to our little oasis to birth their fawns.
We hope you have a chance to put one of our gourmet hot dogs in your mouth when you find us out and about. You won’t regret it! I can guarantee.
